Blake Nxumalo is a Client Welcome Specialist at Carolina Family Estate Planning, where she helps create a thoughtful first experience for the families who contact our firm. What she enjoys most about the role is the balance between attention to detail and empathy: gathering the right information while also remembering that every conversation involves real people and very personal decisions.
Born in Durban, South Africa, Blake studied General Psychology at the University of KwaZulu-Natal. Her desire to help others has been part of her for a long time. As a child, she wanted to become a doctor or nurse, and she has always admired Mother Teresa for her compassion and strength. Today, that same mindset shows up in the way she works, with patience, kindness, and a willingness to keep learning.
In her free time, Blake loves swimming (she is actually a great swimmer!). She also enjoys video games, loves Stranger Things, and dreams of traveling to Paris, Korea, and Spain. If she could choose any superpower, it would be telekinesis (partly because it sounds cool, and partly because handling everything at once without missing a beat would be pretty amazing).
Blake describes herself as empathetic, compassionate, and strong, qualities that shape the way she approaches both her work and the people around her.
