Ryan Roix works behind the scenes at Carolina Family Estate Planning as an Estate and Trust Administration Legal Assistant, supporting attorneys and the legal team through detailed preparation, organization, and steady case management. He takes pride in being someone that others can rely on to keep processes clear and on track, especially during moments that require patience, accuracy, and follow-through.
Ryan earned his degree from Campbell University and has built his career supporting legal teams with document drafting, case coordination, and administrative support. He values clarity, consistency, and communication, and believes that strong behind-the-scenes work plays an essential role in helping families feel prepared and supported throughout the planning and administration process.
His connection to estate planning is also personal. After his family member was diagnosed with dementia and moved into a long-term memory care unit, Ryan has seen firsthand how imperative it is to plan for the future. That experience reinforced for him how important planning can be during uncertain and emotionally difficult times, and it continues to shape how he approaches his work today.
Outside of the office, Ryan enjoys collecting baseball cards, flying drones, and staying active as an avid bowler and golfer. He’s a lifelong chess fan, a die-hard Philadelphia Phillies supporter, and enjoys unwinding with his favorites like Star Wars, Lord of the Rings, and Friends. Ryan and his wife share their home with their cat, Gizmo.
