As Operations Assistant at Carolina Family Estate Planning, Shevon Cruz plays a key role in keeping daily operations organized, efficient, and running smoothly. Her career path has taken her from retail to office management to human resources, giving her a strong mix of organizational know-how and people skills. She has always had a heart for helping others, and she brings that same commitment to every task, big or small.
Shevon was born in Brooklyn, New York, and has lived in Augsburg, Germany; El Paso, Texas; and Fayetteville, North Carolina, before settling in Fuquay-Varina. She earned her associate degree from Fayetteville Technical Community College, followed by a bachelor’s and master’s degree in Business Management from Everest University, and later a second master’s degree in Human Resource Management from Capella University. She is also a Notary Public.
Outside of work, Shevon enjoys reading, cooking for family and friends, and crocheting handmade gifts. Every year, she donates 100 crochet beanies to children at St. Jude’s Children’s Hospital, hoping to offer comfort and confidence during treatment. She also volunteers at local food banks and food shuttles to help serve the community.
At home, Shevon and her husband share life with two daughters (Jasmine and Amya) and three dogs (Rosie, Destiny, and Rocky Balboa), and plenty of time is spent cheering for the New York Giants and New York Yankees. She loves a good game of Spades, Dominoes, or Trouble, and unwinds with favorite shows like Vampire Diaries and Sons of Anarchy.
