Carlos Ochoa, Carolina Family Estate Planning's Marketing Manager, is an inventive, productive, and enthusiastic digital designer whose creativity helps CFEP's marketing capabilities. Carlos furthers and advances the developmental digital marketing landscape of CFEP, handling social media and web forum posts, customer service, digital marketing, and advertising design.
Carlos was born and raised in Nayarit, México. He graduated from Universidad Autónoma de Nayarit, in Tepic, Nayarit, México. At college, Carlos received various awards; one of them being a national award for knowledge in the marketing field in 2013. After graduating, Carlos moved to Morelia, Michoacán, where he started his professional marketing career. He now lives in Puerto Vallarta, Jalisco—a resort town on Mexico's Pacific coast, known for its beaches, water sports, and great weather!
Ever since Carlos could remember, he's been passionate about creative design, advertising, marketing, and everything related to visual arts. He'd remember using cameras and messing around with digital software, even as a kid: I always wanted to be a photographer, designer, or anything related to visual arts. Carlos talked about how his creativity and marketing skills related to the success of CFEP: We constantly seek ways of communicating with our clients through graphic resources, so I try to enhance the brand's aesthetics by following trends and adding my personal touch to every design. In my playground, I constantly develop content for social media, print collateral, ebooks, etc. Carlos loves using his job as an outlet to inform people about estate planning!
A fun fact about Carlos is that he can self-teach himself new languages—he speaks English, Spanish, and Portuguese fluently, and has basic, limited proficiency in Japanese and Chinese. Carlos also loves playing games like Scrabble, retro video games from the 1980s and 1990s, and listening to music from the 1980s: I love video games, especially those from the 80s and 90s. I also like to drive around the city listening to 80s music and go to the beach to catch the sunset. Carlos' Favorite movie is Breakfast At Tiffany's, and his favorite TV series are Seinfeld, the original Star Trek, The Simpsons, and Black Mirror. Whenever Carlos can, he loves exploring, and traveling places; his top three countries to visit are Japan, Iceland, and Hong Kong. At home, Carlos has an adorable French Bulldog Chihuahua mix terrier. The most valuable lesson he learned from education was never to give up and never to depend on others' opinions. To grow for myself, not for others' satisfaction. And to be myself and be proud of who I am.
