Chanelle has always been a people person. Whether it’s through volunteering for the food pantry at her church or building a team of customer service representatives, Nelly has a knack for helping others through the difficulties and complexities of life. It’s no surprise that she fits right in at Carolina Family Estate Planning, working as a Client Welcome Specialist and helping to bring in new clients and make the process of estate planning easy to understand.
Nelly was born in Long Island, NY, and graduated from Delaware State University (Go Hornets!), where she was part of the Alpha Kappa Alpha Sorority, Inc. While her childhood aspiration was to become a cardiologist, she quickly realized that she could help people in other ways that didn’t involve working with cadavers.
It is a firm belief for Nelly that dedication and hard work are keys to success, not only in the professional realm but personally as well. She is a passionate supporter of movements like Autism Speaks and is constantly inspired by the perseverance of her niece, who lives with cerebral palsy.
When she isn’t helping others with their estate planning goals, she can be found cooking or enjoying a hard fought game of UNO with her son, Micah (9). Nelly is an avid sports fan and will watch anything from baseball to ping pong; she is all about the competition. She loves a good crime documentary and any vacation on a tropical island.
