Kathy has been living in North Carolina for 14 years, but she was born and raised in Plymouth, Massachusetts, the site of the first Pilgrim settlement. (What kind of music did pilgrims listen to? Plymouth Rock!)
She attended Stonehill College in North Easton, MA majoring in Business Administration. Her alma mater is where she built her skills as an organized, detail-oriented multitasker. Kathy's education provided her with a breadth and depth of administrative experience to keep our workflow flowing.
Kathy serves as our Funding Coordinator, and she facilitates the legal team and our clients by updating their accounts and beneficiary designations according to their estate plans. Her knowledge, integrity, and decisiveness make her the ideal fit for her role.
She's always there to help any staff with anything they need; she is an authentic team player and natural caregiver. She doesn't just care for us here in the office; she also cares for four children - one girl and three boys - and their canine house mascot, Ginger! She is a proud parent who loves being a mom and watching them grow!
Kathy's had the heartbreaking experience of losing her husband to cancer in July of 2020. She knows firsthand that the unthinkable can happen. Kathy first came to CFEP as a client. Her experience with probate and the courts exposed her to the system and inspired her to help others. She brings strength, braveness, and empathy to our clients as she supports and assists them in putting their estate plans in place.
When Kathy is away from the office, you can usually find her on the baseball field, cheering her boys on, or clearing out space to display their next medal or trophy!
