Kelley Dowdle is a part of our dream Estate Administration Team as a Legal Assistant. She’s been familiar with the legal field for years, specifically in Arizona – where she’s spent most of her life. As a law fanatic, Kelley has worked in the AZ courts with many responsibilities. She was appointed as Justice of the Peace Pro Tem and even served in small claims court.
Her work at CFEP is very close to her heart due to personal family experiences. After graduating from Northland Pioneer Community College, Kelley moved back to her hometown to provide long-term care for her grandparents. Luckily, with her vast knowledge of different court processes, she guided her family through her grandparent’s estate in the probate process. Later in life, she also helped her parents complete their own estate planning. Kelley knows how difficult it can be to make scary decisions for a somewhat sensitive subject, but she strongly advocates for everyone to complete their estate planning before it’s too late.
Kelley decided to move her whole life across the country just recently in 2021. She says the decision was a long time coming; but North Carolina has never felt more like home. And as a big hockey fan, the Hurricanes have just gained a lifelong fan.
Kelley is also an animal enthusiast, as most of our team members. She wholeheartedly believes in supporting local non-profit organizations and animal shelters. She hopes to become more involved in shelters around NC alongside her daughter, Miley. When they’re not obsessing over animals, you can find Kelley snuggled in on the couch watching a movie or trying something new – “I’ll try anything and everything once.”
