A distinguished group of attorneys and professionals from across the country, including Jackie Bedard and Dan Bedard, have announced a new non-profit focused on preparing for Alzheimer's disease and dementia, The National Alliance of Attorneys for Alzheimer's Planning ("N3AP"). N3AP is the first organization of its kind and aims to be a resource not only for attorneys but also for the general public. Alzheimer's disease is an epidemic with no end in sight, and N3AP hopes to bring awareness to the issue with their collective years of experience, research, and exploration into the subject.
Jackie Bedard and Dan Bedard are founding members of N3AP and members of the steering committee. N3AP held its first national conference, which was attended by attorneys and professionals from all over the United States who have shown a true commitment to bringing awareness to Alzheimer's disease and dementia, and to keeping the legal community apprised of the latest developments with these diseases. The N3AP conference featured presentations by nationally recognized neuropsychiatrists, care managers, and other authorities on issues relating to Alzheimer's and dementia planning.
