Any berries will do (but beware: the muffins will come out the same color as your purée).
1-1/2 cup puréed berries (if frozen, let thaw overnight)
1 cup whole wheat flour
1 cup all purpose flour
1/3 cup sugar
1 tsp. baking soda
1/2 tsp. salt
1 tsp. vanilla extract
1. Preheat oven to 325°.
2. Purée berries in a blender or food processor until smooth.
3. Combine flour, sugar, baking soda, and salt in large bowl. Mix well.
4. Mix eggs, vanilla, and puree in medium bowl. Add flour mixture until blended.
5. Pour batter into 12 lined muffin tins (filling about halfway) and bake at 325 for 25 minutes (or until toothpick inserted in center comes out clean.
6. Let cool for 10 minutes.
