Meet Carrie, our exceptional Billing Clerk here at CFEP!
Carrie was born and raised in Charlotte, North Carolina. After moving to Georgia with her family in 1999, she attended Georgia Southern University. Carrie's adventurous side led her to Lake Tahoe for some time before deciding to move back to the East coast. She figured out she could never be that far from Tarheels basketball or Panthers football ever again!
She met her husband in 2016 at her best friend's wedding. And a couple of short years later, they got married overlooking the blue ridge mountains in Asheville, NC. Her blended family of five (including her sweet fur baby, Sydney) now resides in Clayton -- where they couldn’t be happier to be part of the charming small-town community.
Carrie is an avid traveler, music junkie and is always knee-deep in enriching her faith. She has served in children’s ministries for over ten years and loves giving back. Carrie never wastes an opportunity to make someone laugh, lend a giant smile, or give a word of encouragement!
With her background in sales management, administrative management, and financials, she can admit that she has a knack for details… okay, quite possibly even a bit obsessed! And what better to obsess over than numbers? When the opportunity to join the CFEP team fell in her lap, she knew it was the place for her. She was incredibly close to her grandparents as a child, and her world flipped upside down when all of them had passed before she graduated high school. Through her devastating losses, she developed a sweet spot for the elderly; and believes they should always be treated with great care. Knowing that she can be a part of a team that ensures people are taken care of and centers itself around doing what is right has become a true blessing. We like to think we are a match made in heaven!
