Growing up in rural Western New York, Sarah’s parents constantly told her she should become a lawyer. Not that she’s argumentative. It’s just that she knows a lot!
Although Sarah decided not to pursue law school, her parents’ words were prescient: she still wound up in the legal field. As a Legal Assistant at Carolina Family Estate Planning, she puts her knowledge and curiosity to work, helping our legal team produce, proofread, and assemble clients’ Estate Plans and Funding Packages.
No one is surprised to learn that Sarah is a librarian’s daughter. Sarah is someone who appreciates the pursuit of knowledge. She has her degree in History and German from the University of Buffalo. She spent two years studying abroad in Germany, where she fell in love with the city of Berlin.
After moving back stateside, Sarah worked for a law firm in DC before she and her fiancé* decided Cary, North Carolina was more their speed. During their first year here, she took a job keeping people happy and keeping schedules organized at one of the area’s premier hotels. When we looked at her resumé, we thought, “This could be interesting.”
Sarah does not disappoint. She can always recommend a good--and unique--book or movie, or an obscure and wryly-humored YouTube series to experience. When she’s not toiling away in our print room, she’s spending her free time with her fiancé*, Conor, and their miniature Schnauzer, Shadow. Two of the three enjoy reading and cross stitching; all three enjoy lazy weekends and yummy food.
* Conor will be Sarah’s husband in a little over a month, as of this posting--in a union we like to refer to as, “The Sarah Conor Chronicle.” COVID be darned!
